Adobe AIR ios app black screens at startup (IOS 8.3)

I am trying to port an app I made for Android over to ios. My certificate and PP are linked properly and it syncs onto my phone from iTunes.

However, when I try to open it on my iPhone it shows a black screen and then closes immediately. I've tried it with an empty project and nothing changed so I don't think the problem is with the code.

I'm using Flash Professional CC 2014 and AIR 17.0.0.144. If I export it in Flash Professional CS6 it doesn't crash but keeps the black screen.
